Over the weekend Trevor, Zach, and I went to our local skate shop Eduskate. This is also the shop where we all purchased our boards from. The guy who owns the shop has agreed to helping us with anything we need whether its learning a trick, figuring out what wheels to have, or just some good hills to ride. His name is Nate Sherwood. He was a professional skater for 10 years and now owns his own shop (eduskate). this weekend we really focused on just the basics of skating. We all rode every day on the cedar valley nature trail just east of Kennedy. Nate said we all were super quick learners and has no doubt that by the end of this we will be able to do some cool tricks and cruise on any street in Iowa. This really gave us some confidence in our abilities to make this a cool project and show or progress in skating. Every time we go out we film at least a little bit of us attempting a trick or simply just skating down the road.
